"Pear's" Birthday!

Why do my kids have to grow up? "Pear" turned 7 on December 20th! He is my Christmas baby! Poor guy got the flu the night before his birthday. Luckily it was only a 24 hour bug and he was feeling much better by the next day. We made homemade pizza and instead of a cake he decided he wanted to have ice cream cones. I feel kind of bad that I didn't make him a cake, but he was happy with his ice cream!

Honor Roll

We are so proud our little "Apple"! She received two awards for the First trimester at school. One for being a Good Citizen, and another for being on the Honor Roll. Way to go "Apple"!

This is "Apples" 3rd grade class!

This is "Apples" teacher! She is full of energy and always keeping the kids excited about learning! "Apple" has really enjoyed being in her class.

This is "Apples" BFF at school.

Gingerbread Houses!

The kid's both made gingerbread house at school! I was able to go and help in both of their classes and of course I forgot the camera! They both did a really nice job and made some pretty cute houses! We even made one together as a family, but I forgot to take a picture of it!

Better late then never! We had A wonderful and busy Christmas! Apple had a choir performance the week before school got out for there "winter break". The kids did a great job and the auditorium was packed full of people, we didn't even get a set! "Apple" really enjoys sing in the choir and is looking forward to her next choir performance in May!

Mix until creamy and spread over cooled brownies!

In a small bowl but butter and chocolate chips in and place in the microwave for 1 minute, then stir until it is all melted. Pour on top of mint layer.
